Today we voiced our This I Believe essays! We split into two groups, and one group voiced while the other group worked on focusing their story ideas, then they switched.
For homework last week, we had them listen to Real Teens, Fake Babies from The Longest Shortest Time. We started our lecture section of class, we talked about what we learned from the episode, what we liked, what worked well, and what different types of sounds were used.
Then we had a group brainstorm sesh about their four minute feature stories ideas. We talked about who to interview, and talked about how to write a focus sentence, and talked about how to fill out their Story Planning Worksheets.
