This rainy Thursday we gathered 'round our conference table to talk some more about our stories, tech and interviewing. We started class off by checking in with each student about their focus sentences, who they were planning on interviewing, and what their concerns were at this point. We didn't mean for it to take an hour, but it did. It was great for everyone, though. Everyone is right where they're supposed to be.
We talked briefly about their reading homework, The Uses of Anger by Audre Lorde. We had another productive conversation about responding to anti-blackness. Then we listened to Nine People, One Bedroom from Radio Rookies. After discussing the Radio Rookies piece, we talked quickly about tech/interviewing. We went over time, again. We're the worst.
